The working experience with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures are very unforgettable for me I enjoyed being in an office that is full of diversity So far I have yet to gather the unforgettable moments as I am fairly new in the Chamber but I am sure I will be able to have many of these moments in the future First of all I would like to congratulate MGCC for its 25th Anniversary Long Live MGCC I am honoured to have joined MGCC and be part of the family It has been a great journey and a fantastic new chapter in my career path I am looking forward to many more wonderful years ahead alongside with Chamber to grow stronger and superior in the industry My most unforgettable memory with MGCC is to work with a multi ethnic friendly and open team The most impressive moment at MGCC for me would be when I took over my position as ED in this chamber I quickly found out that the current office was not the perfect set up for the fresh start that I wanted Following a wise saying by Confucius When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached don t adjust the goals adjust the action steps I came to the conclusion that we should may be change the setting of MGCC Thus I proposed the idea of moving to new premises to my fellow Board Members and I was overwhelmed by the immediate and strong support for this plan Since then the biggest project in years for MGCC is moving to our new office until the end of the year 2016 And I am sure we will experience a whole lot of fresh ideas and motivation unleashed by this move Josef Tschoep joined June 2015 S e n i o r P r o g r a m m e C o o r d i n a t o r Daniel Bernbeck joined August 2015 E x e c u t i v e D i r e c t o r Ivy Lee joined July 2015 A c c o u n t s O f f i c e r Christina Tan joined November 2015 P A t o G e n e r a l M a n a g e r 24 FEATURE
