was the Drachenschlucht gorge A specially made backdrop represented the Drachenfels rock which is close to the Rennsteig hiking trail A 100 inch monitor set up in portrait format allowed visitors to look deep into the gorge which was bathed in green light from LED spotlights Finally they were given mu sical impressions of Thuringia as they lis tened to works by Bach Liszt or Clueso while sitting in futuristic sound seats This shared stand was a great challenge and the result was very well received at the ITB says Dirk Deumeland of the Leipzig based exhibition stand construction company Fair net www fairnet de 50 years of company history in 80 square metres portrayed as time travel and a success story including technology mile stones and an innovative look at the future were packed into the stand of Knitter Switch a family run switching technology company with activities across the globe at Electroni ca in Munich The stand was developed and built by Atelier Damböck a company based in Neufinshing near Munich A long free standing display case presented photographs and documents from the company s history A timeline on the front of the display case led visitors through the product highlights of the last five decades Further exhibits were on pyramid shaped presenters and in small display cases on the back wall The internal sides of these cases were slanted and mir rored It created a sense of infinity ex plains Atelier Damböck marketing manager Kathrin Böttcher What that means here is that the success story will continue we are looking forward The most eye catching feature at the stand the huge graphic behind the bar con veyed a similar message It provided per spective says Böttcher The graphic showed a map of the world and symbolised the com pany s global presence A 3D effect was achieved by means of contour milled black Forex with yellow print Besides suggesting travel through space and time the stand also embodied corporate design The company s colours yellow and black dominated and visitors were able to recognise the brand s fa miliar design elements in the triangular ceil ing banners The cushions on the bench had yellow covers And even the chairs and barstools were chosen to fit in with the de sign and product world in a colour and de sign language to suit the technology www damboeck de JK or ga ni si er en di ffe re nz ie re n fa sz in ie re n Wir sind bluepool Wir gehen jeden Weg mit Ihnen zusammen und noch ein Stück weiter www bluepool de MENSCHLICH PERSÖNLICH LEBENDIG 87TradeFairs Internation al 3 2018 PRACTICE
