T he JägerCampus was a student flat share project run by Jägermeister from the autumn of 2015 to October 2017 The herbal liqueur maker provided four adult students with rent free accommo dation in the centre of Stuttgart for a semes ter Jägermeister helped them organise a va riety of cultural events and campaigns and provided them with individual support The idea behind the project which was imple mented together with 0711 Livecom was for the students to become authentic brand am bassadors The JägerCampus consisted of three different parts the private Jäger stu dent flat on the second and third floors a club on the first floor and a bar on the ground floor The bar and club attracted a di verse crowd including many students and served as public event venues The aim was to give a music loving lifestyle conscious target group a lasting taste for Jägermeister that would be sustained well beyond the end of the project At the same time the project s creators wanted to convey the sense of a brand community in an un conventional way The JägerCampus took the Jägermeister brand into an urban environ ment As the project progressed it become something of a hotspot in the student scene significantly increasing the brand s appeal to a highly relevant target group This shared flat was worth a visit praised the jury be stowing it with the Bronze Famab Award in the Public Consumer Event category The opening ceremony of the Gotthard Base Tunnel in 2016 conceived and imple mented by Verein Portal Kunst 57 and Wink ler Livecom also received a Bronze Famab Award but in the Event Best Celebration cat egory Inspired by legends and stories from Swiss mountain mythology this spectacular show told an ancient story of nature man and machines Around 600 performers were used and the result was an opening cere mony for guests visitors the media and heads of state from all over the world that was worthy of such a remarkable project The event received media coverage through out the world The completion of such a huge challenge the construction of the world s longest tunnel was linked to the vanquishing of mythological creatures living in the tunnel The jury appreciated both the conceptual approach and the stringent ef forts made to include both ends of the tunnel in the celebration The show was fantastic and we would have loved to be there said the jurors A courageous project perfectly staged Indian company Tata Consulting Services TCS sees itself as part of the vanguard shaping the trend towards digitalisation TCS attends the World Economic Forum in Davos every year to position itself internationally as a digital pioneer The primary focus of the TCS Global Reception 2016 was on enabling the guests to experience digitalisation Dele gates at the World Economic Forum are al ways pressed for time so the event had to be limited to two hours The challenge was to put the desired message across in a relative ly short period of time Digitalisation in all its facets thus had to be portrayed in a surpris ing innovative and decorative way And that s exactly what Live Lab achieved with its Digital Forest The Digital Forest was a 46TH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF INVENTIONS GENEVA Under the patronage of the Swiss Federal Government of the State the City of Geneva and of the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO inventions geneva ch 11 15 aPril 2018 PALEXPO FOCUS 29TradeFairs Internation al 1 2018 EVENTS LOCATIONS Students mythical creatures and biodiversity The Famab Awards were presented in November 2017 for the very last time Some award winners took their orientation from the event venue when developing their concept or created a venue of their own
